Recovery from hepatitis C treatment may be complicated by which side effects you have, how healthy you were to begin with, and how committed to healthy habits you are. For instance, an overweight smoker who doesn't exercise might not ever feel right, where someone who says, "I did this and now I am going to stay healthy and exercise and keep my weight down" may do well. Then there are those sad stories of people who did everything by the book but can't seem to feel good.

Last Entry: New Hepatitis C Treatment - Week 30: 30th Interferon Injection (2013-05-20 13:31:48)
Doctors originally prescribed Nicholson's 24 weeks of treatment. It would have ended around April 1st 2012. Due to the experimental nature of the treatment his specialists decided to extend the medication time 12 weeks until the end of June. He has been informed that he will have an over 90% chance of a permanent cure if he is able to complete the full 36 weeks of therapy.

I've been on the proper drugs for 12 days now and the only side effect I've felt was a headache that lasted all day yesterday.

The treatment drugs are so strong they chemically make you feel depressed or overly anxious. This is not an emotional or mental issue, but a physical run off of the treatment meds.

It was confirmed he was Hepatitis C positive in 2009 and he is currently undergoing an experimental treatment for the disease.
